Trump erupts at reporter’s ‘stupid’ question, rules out using nuclear weapons on Iran
US President Donald Trump has shut down a reporter and asserted he will not use a nuclear weapon on Iran despite escalating tensions.
On Monday, Trump spoke to reporters in the Oval Office when asked if he would attack Iran with a nuclear weapon.
The president confirmed he ruled out the use of a nuke, before asserting “there’s no reason for it” as the war with Iran reaches its sixth month.
President Trump then viciously attacked the reporter’s “stupid question”, arguing Iran has been “totally defeated militarily”.
“What a stupid question that is, actually is. Here they are; they’re totally defeated militarily. So now, I defeat them, and now I should use a nuclear weapon on top of them? What a stupid question,” Trump said.
