Shark bite resistant wetsuit materials could help protect surfers against fatal shark attacks, with tests showing some fabrics significantly reduce puncture wounds and blood loss.

Researchers from Flinders University tested four different materials similar to those used in bulletproof vests, against great white and tiger shark simulations.
