Sea World on the Gold Coast has ended its iconic ski show on Thunder Lake after nearly 70 years of continuous performances. The theme park, which began as the Surfers Paradise Ski Gardens in Carrara in 1958, has always featured water sports and stunt shows on the lake since relocating to the Spit. The park is now exploring future options for the famous lake, marking the first time in its history without performances on the water.
