Rob Schenider’s tense moment with Robert De Niro over Trump support
Comedian Rob Schneider has shared a tense moment he had with actor Robert De Niro.
While speaking to students at a Turning Point USA event at UC Berkeley, Schneider recalled an exchange he had with the act.
During his talk, Schneider exclaimed how he handled dealing with Robert De Niro “with love” rather than anger.
Robert De Niro is one of US President Donald Trump’s most outspoken critics and has repeatedly criticised both Trump and his administration.
The acclaimed actor had previously called President Trump an “alien”, accusing him of wanting to “hurt” the US and Americans.
In both the Fox News interview and to university students, Schneider expressed how to interact with people who have such different political beliefs.
