‘People can see the unfairness’: Housing pressures under spotlight ahead of budget
The federal government will hand down its budget tomorrow.
Potential housing tax reforms have been flagged, while cost-of-living pressures remain a key concern for many Australians.
Australian Council of Social Service CEO Cassandra Goldie commented on this.
“I think people that we represent and the broader community can see the unfairness in where we’ve got to with who has access to housing and who has a safe place to call home and who doesn’t,” Ms Goldie said.
