Parents urged to speak to young people about strangulation
In case you missed it, Social Services Minister Tanya Plibersek warned parliament that young people are reporting a troubling trend — having experienced choking in a recent sexual encounter.
“Sexual strangulation is becoming commonplace because children are seeing violent and degrading pornography before they’ve had their first kiss,” she said.
