‘No big red flag’ in Optus case which could’ve warned customers


Tech expert Trevor Long discusses Optus’ failure in allowing some customers to call 000.

“This was not a network outage,” Mr Long told Sky News host Paul Murray.

“There was no outage of the network.

“There was no indication on anyone’s phone that there was an issue, until you needed it most, and that’s the disgrace of it.

“There was no big red flag in the Optus network operation centre to say that this was faulty.”
