‘TDS is off the scale’ as EU Parliament ridiculed for ‘fat’ and ‘naked’ Trump sculpture
News24 host Rowan Dean mocked a sculptor commissioned by the EU Parliament for creating a controversial statue depicting US President Donald Trump as a naked, gold figure titled “Orange Plague”.
“I’ve got another candidate because we like to involve the arts in our Wally of the Week: a sculptor here who’s been working for the EU Parliament,” Mr Dean said.
“So you’ve got a fat, gold Donald Trump perched on the shoulders, naked.
“The TDS is off the scale, the TDS of these characters.
“It’s called Orange Plague, by the way, that particular statue.”
