‘NATO at risk’: Trump throwing ‘tension’ at Europe relationship
United States Studies Centre’s Jared Mondschein claims the future of NATO has been “at risk” for some time.
“President Trump, especially in his second term, is less inhibited about speaking and doing as much that shows a lack of regard for this partnership,” Mr Mondschein told Sky News Australia.
“He is being very aggressive in wanting to protect US land by any means necessary, including, not just criticising, but really throwing a lot of tension into the NATO relationship.”
