NASA plans to launch manned lunar mission in 2026

NASA plans to launch the first manned lunar mission in over 50 years.

Artemis Two may depart Earth as early as February next year with a four-person crew.

While it won’t touch down on the lunar surface, it will circumvent the moon, travelling over 9,000km past it, further than ever before.

The primary goal is to test rocket and spaceship systems for eventual moon landings.
