Matt Wright opens up about best mate’s death

For years, Matt Wright was the global face of the Northern Territory — a helicopter pilot and wildlife expert best known for starring in the shows Outback Wrangler and Wild Croc Territory.

But in February 2022, Wright made headlines in the aftermath of a deadly helicopter crash in West Arnhem Land, that killed his co-star and friend, Chris “Willow” Wilson.

Four years after the crash, the question of what actually caused that helicopter to come down remains officially unsolved.
