Left face ‘internal battles’ as liberal-socialist rift may propel Pratt into LA mayoral seat
Los Angeles resident Roxanne Hoge discusses LA mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt’s campaign and how the rift between the liberal and socialist left may propel him into securing the mayorship.
“We have a sort of funky electoral system here in California, because you know, la la land, the land of fruits and nuts,” Ms Hoge told Sky News Senior Reporter Caroline Marcus.
“He may be a Republican … but the truth is that the mayoral race is an unpartisan one … no one’s name on the ballot is accompanied by any political party, it’s purely someone’s name.”
