Keir Starmer’s ‘fate may be sealed’ as he could be ‘tossed out’ after UK’s local elections
Sky News contributor Sophie Elsworth claims UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s days are “certainly numbered now” as he’s under increased pressure to resign.
This comes after a former senior civil servant gave evidence into the vetting process of former US ambassador Peter Mandelson.
“There is no doubt he is under huge pressure,” Ms Elsworth told Sky News Australia.
She said the expectation is that Mr Starmer will see his prime ministership through until after the UK’s local elections, but then his “fate may be sealed; he may be tossed out”.
“He’s hanging on for dear life,” she said.
