‘Got a lot of axes to grind’: Trump to end years of boycott and attend WH Correspondents’ Dinner
Sky News Washington analyst Annelise Nielsen discusses US President Donald Trump’s expected appearance at this year’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
The annual dinner is set to take place on Saturday, April 25, at the Washington Hilton.
“Trump’s refused to go to the White House Correspondents’ Dinner during both his first term, and now we’re into his second term,” Ms Nielsen told Sky News Australia.
“It seems like he’s got a lot of axes to grind and he’s very much planning to go and give the media in DC a serve.
“It’s definitely going to be a peak Trump moment.”
