John Fetterman grilled by ‘The View’ co-host over vote to end government shutdown

‘The View’ co-host Sunny Hostin grilled Democrat Senator John Fetterman over his decision to vote to end the government shutdown.

Hostin accused him of bringing “a butter knife to a gunfight” and caving to Republican demands on healthcare.

The popular panel show host also said Republican Marjorie Taylor Greene “blamed the GOP” for the shutdown.

Fetterman claimed Democrats such as Bernie Sanders and Gavin Newsom are representing “extreme” parts of the party by criticising the shutdown deal.

The Pennsylvania senator has consistently voted with the GOP to reopen the government throughout the historic 42-day shutdown.
