James Paterson ‘basically abandoned Australia’ with ‘Farage-lite’ warning

Sky News host Rowan Dean has accused James Paterson of having “basically abandoned Australia” after he warned the Liberal Party against becoming “Farage-lite”.

“I had a lot of time for James Paterson, one of the great conservative warriors of past years, but to come out in the middle of all this and say we do not want to be Farage-lite … he’s basically abandoned Australia, James Paterson,” Mr Dean said.

“He’s way too wet for me.

“He’s dissing the entire Reform agenda in Britain … Farage represents anti-net zero policies.”
