‘It was never about peace’: Pro-Palestinian protests continue despite Hamas agreeing to deal
Liberal Senator Maria Kovacic argues “it was never about peace in the Middle East” as protesters continue to participate in pro-Palestinian rallies despite the Gaza peace deal going ahead.
This comes after Senator Lidia Thorpe threatened to burn down Parliament House during a pro-Palestinian protest in Melbourne on Sunday.
“It was about them advancing their own agenda, and their agenda is not being advanced by a peaceful situation,” Ms Kovacic told Sky News Australia.
