‘Radical left would rather see it die’: Trump torches judge following Kennedy Centre ruling
US President Donald Trump has lashed out at a judge who ruled The Kennedy Centre could not be renamed after him.
The judge ruled an act of Congress is required for iconic Washington venues to be renamed.
He’s directed the administration to remove all physical signage bearing the President’s name, as well as eliminate any references to ‘Trump Kennedy Centre’.
The President has announced he has directed his staff to transfer control of The Kennedy Centre to Congress.
President Trump said in a post on Truth Social: “Unfortunately, Judge Cooper and the radical left would rather see it die than have President Trump transform it into something that everyone could be proud of, much as I have done, in many cases, throughout my life.”
