Israel orders closure of Britain consulate after diplomatic dispute
The British Consulate in Jerusalem has been downgraded to a UK Mission.
Israel had ordered its closure after the UK government imposed sanctions on West Bank settlements.
The two nations reached an agreement to allow a small team of diplomats to operate in the city.
Around 20 British diplomats are leaving Israel due to the dispute.
The UK government confirmed it would not take reciprocal action against the Jewish state.
