Iran reportedly rejects second round of peace talks with the US
Iran has rejected a second round of peace talks with the US, according to a state-run Iranian news agency.
The Islamic Republic News Agency reports Iran has pulled out of talks as a result of “Washington’s excessive demands, unrealistic expectations, constant shifts in stance, repeated contradictions, and the ongoing naval blockade, which it considers a breach of the ceasefire”.
It comes after US President Donald Trump claimed American representatives will be in Pakistan for talks about ending the war with Iran.
