‘Ignorant in the extreme’: Trump blasted for ‘repulsive’ Afghanistan war comments

Former Australian major general Mick Ryan condemns US President Donald Trump for his “repulsive” comments about the war in Afghanistan.

“They were repulsive comments made by someone who has never served and avoided serving his country,” Mr Ryan told Sky News host Danica De Giorgio.

“They were ignorant in the extreme, and they were wrong.

“These were terrible comments, and I see that he’s already starting to roll them back, at least in the UK.”
