An Air China flight was grounded after a refuelling truck damaged the plane’s fuel port in New York.
Footage shows the refuelling vehicle positioned beside the Boeing 747 with two hosepipes connected when it suddenly moves at around 2 am local time on Monday.
The sudden movement tugged on the fuel lines, damaging the aircraft’s fuel port and sending fuel spilling across the tarmac.
A maintenance worker was later seen walking through the area as the aircraft remained at John F. Kennedy International Airport.
Another video shows authorities examining the aeroplane, while workers reportedly used dry powder to deal with the spilt fuel.
