‘I take responsibility’: Starmer apologises to Epstein victims for Mandelson’s appointment
UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer apologises to the victims of paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
“At the heart of this, there is also a judgment I made that was wrong,” Mr Starmer said.
“I should not have appointed Peter Mandelson; I take responsibility for that decision.
“I apologise again to the victims of the paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, who were clearly failed by my decision.”
