‘About bloody time’: Labor scrambles to prevent NDIS budget from ‘spiralling out of control’

Nationals Leader Matt Canavan is not very hopeful Labor will be able to contain the runaway costs of the NDIS.

“It’s about bloody time,” Mr Canavan told Sky News Australia.

“Why has it taken the government four years to get to this point to realise its own budget is spiralling out of control?

“They’ve made a lot of promises to cap the growth rate of the NDIS at five per cent; they’ve failed to do that every time.”
