‘Highly entertaining’: Left embrace the Pope after discovering he is anti-Trump

Sky News host James Macpherson discusses the growing tensions between United States President Donald Trump and the Pope.

“The Pope, who seems to have absorbed every left-wing talking point without any reflection, then regurgitated them,” Mr Macpherson said.

“And just like that, the progressive left discovered a deep and abiding love for the papacy.

“It didn’t matter that the Pope was anti-abortion and anti-same sex marriage; the Pope’s Catholicism was forgiven when the left realised he was also anti-Trump.”
