Hackers steal and post online classified plans for new Australian fighting vehicles
Classified plans for Australia’s new $7 billion Redback infantry fighting vehicles have been stolen and posted online by hackers.
The Cyber Toufan hacking group, which is believed to be linked to the Iranian state, posted 3D renderings and technical details of the next-generation fighting vehicles on Telegram.
The group claims to have obtained the confidential data through a cyber attack on 17 Israeli defence companies.
