Greta Thunberg deported from Israel after interception of Gaza-bound flotilla
Activist Greta Thunberg has arrived in Athens after she was deported by Israel.
All up, 171 Sumud Flotilla participants were deported to Greece and Slovakia according to Israel’s Foreign Ministry.
They were detained after the IDF intercepted vessels while en route to deliver aid to Gaza.
Greta Thunberg says activists were subjected to inhumane conditions; however, Israel has denied the claim.
450 people were arrested from the flotilla in total.
