‘So much misinformation’: Warning against letting AI write Australia’s policies
News24 host Danica De Giorgio warns against politicians relying solely on AI-generated research to shape public policy, arguing Australians need to take personal responsibility for fact-checking information.
“I do think that it has a big role to play when it comes to the research side of things,” Ms De Giorgio said.
“There needs to be personal responsibility that takes over, and that personal responsibility means you are fact-checking.
“I don’t have an issue with it for researching processes; I do have an issue with it when we are solely relying on it to form policy in this country when there is so much misinformation.”
