‘Game breaker’: Territorial ‘sticking point’ threatens Ukraine peace deal

University of Otago Department of Politics Professor Robert Patman claims the territorial “sticking point” in the Ukraine peace deal is a “game breaker”.

“President Trump, when he said 95 per cent deal has nearly been done,” Mr Patman told Sky News Australia.

“The five per cent, given it’s based on a territorial sticking point, looks like it could be more than a thorny sticking point, but actually a game breaker.”
