King Charles breaks silence on Harry and Meghan’s UK return with blunt message
King Charles has broken his silence on the Sussexes’ return to the UK in a penned a letter outlining Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s position within the Royal Family.
In the message written to government and military officials, the head of state said the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will not resume royal duties despite a return to the UK.
The letter went on to say they are no longer working members and addressing the pair as His and Her Royal Highness was not to be done.
A Buckingham Palace official reinforced the King’s message, saying Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are akin to private citizens with commercial and charitable interests.
