The Federal Coalition has unveiled new legislative proposals outlawing the burning of the Australian flag and defacing war memorials in a raft of new policy to be discussed in Canberra this week.

In addition, the Labor government is planning this week to unveil new policy to combat misogynistic content online along with an opt out policy for algorithms on social media platforms.
