Fiona Brown settles with government over Brittany Higgins saga | 7NEWS
Former Federal Liberal staffer Fiona Brown has settled with the Commonwealth Government for an undisclosed amount over the Brittany Higgins saga. Ms Brown sued the government, alleging former PM Scott Morrison and his staff prevented her from responding to allegations that she took part in a political cover-up, accusations she said destroyed her life. The settlement means the former PM and senior advisers will not have to take the stand to defend themselves in a trial.
