Extortion plot foiled at France Soir restaurant | 7NEWS
Police foiled a firebombing attempt at France Soir, one of Melbourne’s most exclusive restaurants in South Yarra, arresting two people at 3.30am armed with jerry cans, accelerant and imitation firearms. The restaurant had reportedly been warned of an extortion plot in the preceding days. A 31-year-old Sandringham man and 22-year-old Moorabbin woman were charged with weapons and drugs offences and bailed to appear in court in November.
