Echoing Fauci without scrutiny sparked a lasting ‘COVID hangover’ for media trust

“The media did such a terrible job during that time as well; I think it lost so much trust,” Ms Power said.

“There’s still kind of this COVID hangover, I would say, where people don’t trust the media anymore because they were just repeating the lines of the experts, such as Fauci, without much scrutiny.”
