Dozens killed in Afghanistan-Pakistan border clashes | ABC NEWS


Dozens of soldiers have been killed as border tensions flared up between Afghanistan and Pakistan.
The Taliban claims to have killed at least 58 Pakistani troops and captured border posts, while Islamabad challenged the toll and claimed to have eliminated more than 200 Taliban fighters and seized 19 Afghan military posts.
Taliban Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi has accused certain sections of the Pakistani government of deliberately sabotaging Afghan-Pakistani relations, while Islamabad officials allege Kabul is sheltering Pakistani Taliban (TPP).
The Afghan official says Taliban forces had accomplished all of their objectives and was persuaded by Saudi Arabia and Qatar to cease their attacks.
