Denmark apologises to victims of a contraception scandal in Greenland
Denmark’s prime minister has issued an apology for a controversial Greenland birth control campaign that affected thousands of women and girls during the 1960s and 70s.
It’s the latest effort by Denmark to strengthen ties with its territory, as the self-governing autonomous Island faces growing US interest.
Some of those impacted by the contraceptive program say more action is needed.
