Council looks to charge $1.70 per physical rates notice sent through mail

Sky News host Caleb Bond discusses how a Queensland council is looking to charge $1.70 for each rates notice sent by mail.

“This has happened across the border, a lot of the energy retailers do it now and basically everyone but councils are joining in too,” Mr Bond said.

“If you want to be sent a paper bill in the mail, they charge you a surcharge for doing so.”
