The Coalition split is set to end after Liberal leader Sussan Ley and her Nationals counterpart David Littleproud reportedly struck an 11th hour agreement to prioritise shadow cabinet solidarity.
The two parties have both made concessions to resume challenging the government’s policies and countering the surge in popularity of Pauline Hanson’s One Nation.
Three Nationals members of the shadow cabinet who were previously dumped will only be suspended for six weeks rather than six months.
