CNN guest shocks panel praising Donald Trump’s ability to connect with Americans
Former senior adviser to Bernie Sanders, Chuck Rocha, has praised US President Donald Trump’s ability to connect with Americans.
During a segment on the CNN programme ‘The Lead with Jake Tapper, the host and guests discussed Trump’s comments about not making it into heaven.
On Sunday, Trump revealed he’s “not sure” if he’ll make it to heaven following a question by Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy.
The clip of Trump’s comments was played again during CNN’s The Lead, with Rocha commending Trump’s ability to paint himself as a “regular guy”.
Rocha added that Democrats would “never” speak as Trump does and that the party should consider speaking to Republicans and Independents.
