Chilling new details emerge about alleged Trump shooter

New details have emerged into the alleged gunman at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

Authorities say Cole Tomas Allen was armed with a shotgun, handgun, and multiple knives.

Before the attack, he sent a note to his family detailing the target of his attack, which was Trump administration officials.

In it, he apologised to his loved ones and criticised US President Donald Trump without mentioning his name, according to NBC News.

In an excerpt, he writes: “And I am no longer willing to permit a paedophile, rapist, and traitor to coat my hands with his crimes.”

The New York Post is reporting the one-thousand-word manifesto was signed “Cole ‘coldForce’ ‘Friendly Federal Assassin’ Allen”.
