Safety concerns for King Charles ahead of US visit
Buckingham Palace has confirmed that a royal US state visit will go ahead despite safety concerns following the White House Correspondents’ Dinner shooting.
King Charles and Queen Camilla were set to travel to Washington DC on Monday, with the palace confirming on Sunday that security discussions were taking place.
