Ben Roberts-Smith charged over alleged war crimes in Afghanistan
Australia’s most high profile and highly decorated soldier, Ben Roberts-Smith, has been arrested and charged with multiple alleged war crimes over the killings of unarmed Afghan victims.
AFP officers arrested the Victoria Cross recipient at Sydney Airport as he arrived on a flight from Brisbane.
He has been charged with five counts of the war crime murder.
