Australians are ‘angry, broke, and have lost hope’: Nationals respond to new polling

Shadow Emergency Services and Tourism Minister David Littleproud says the latest polling demonstrates how “angry” the Australian people are.

“This is a government thats ideology isn’t meeting the practical reality of the lived experience of Australians that are doing it tough,” Mr Littleproud told Sky News Australia.

“People are looking for hope; they’re looking for a direction to tackle the problems that they are facing, that they have faced over the last four years.

“What you are seeing is Australians lashing out because they’ve lost hope, they’re going broke, they’re looking for something, and they don’t know what it is at the moment.”
