Australia swelters through heatwave conditions
Victoria enjoys a small reprieve from the heat today after parts of the country sweltered through temperatures in the high 30s and mid 40s. An emergency alert has been issued for a fire at Carlisle River, and in NSW, eight watch and act fires are continuing to burn.
