Western Sydney Airport completes first test flight | 7NEWS

Western Sydney Airport reached a major milestone with its first commercial test flight landing today. A Jetstar A320neo aircraft touched down as part of trial operations testing terminal technology, ground support equipment and aerobridges ahead of the official opening on 25 October. Thousands of volunteer participants have been simulating domestic and international departure and arrival processes since August, with the first passenger flight scheduled to depart for the Gold Coast, followed by an international service to Auckland.
