Two Australian tourists clashed over a woman on a nightlife strip in Thailand.

The friends had been drinking at a bar before turning on each other while picking up a woman along the red-light district Bangla Road on the holiday island of Phuket.
The row spiralled into violence as they reportedly exchanged blows along the party street lined with bars and clubs, in the early hours of March 19.
Shocking footage shows one Aussie in a black sando and shorts brutally kicking and punching his friend, who was lying battered on the pavement.
He was heard daring his injured pal: ‘Let’s go, c***, let’s f*****g go.’
Bystanders and tuk-tuk drivers then intervened before he stormed off.
Paramedics later arrived to treat the other tourist at the scene. He was rushed to Patong Hospital for further treatment as police track down the suspect.
Police Colonel Korakrit Khankruea, superintendent of Patong district station, said: ‘We found that the injured man had an argument and a fight with his friend he was travelling with over a woman. His friend fled the scene before the police arrived.
‘The special patrol unit coordinated with the Phuket Charity Foundation, Patong branch, to take him to Patong Hospital for further treatment. We advised him to file a police report so we can proceed with legal action.’
Brawls are common on Bangla Road, a major party strip on the island packed with crowded bars, sleazy nightclubs, and intoxicated tourists.
However, incidents of violence have increased over the past couple of years due to the rise in the number of visitors to the once-pristine island.
Stats show that half of the tourist arrivals in Thailand were visiting the island.
