ABC ordered to pay a further $150,000 to Antoinette Lattouf | ABC NEWS
The ABC has been ordered to pay a fine of $150,000 for unlawfully sacking journalist and presenter Antoinette Lattouf for reasons including her political opinions.
Ms Lattouf had already been awarded $70,000 in compensation for non-economic loss after a judge found the broadcaster breached the Fair Work Act by removing her from air in December 2023.
Justice Daryl Rangiah ordered the broadcaster to pay a penalty of $150,000 to Ms Lattouf within 28 days.
