Passengers from a virus-affected cruise ship, the MV Hondias, are being evacuated from the Canary Islands and repatriated to their home countries. Australian passengers face an additional night on board due to delays with their evacuation aircraft, while 76 people have already been removed and transported to local airports. Evacuated passengers face isolation periods of up to 45 days, and UK military forces parachuted supplies to a remote Atlantic island to assist a British passenger suspected of having the virus.
