One Nation eyeing western Sydney after Farrer victory
One Nation is preparing to target Labor strongholds in western Sydney, including Energy Minister Chris Bowen’s electorate, following the party’s historic victory in the seat of Farrer.
One Nation MP Barnaby Joyce confirmed the party is actively recruiting candidates for western Sydney seats, saying he had been speaking with potential candidates from the region over the weekend.
“We are very much in the mind for western suburbs Sydney,” Joyce said during a television interview. “I was talking to people from the western suburbs of Sydney last night, both on the ground.
