Ken Griffin responds to Mamdani’s campaign video outside $238M Manhattan penthouse
CEO of Citadel Ken Griffin was asked at the Milken Institute Global Conference about his response to New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s targeted tax policy approach, saying it was “creepy and weird”.
“Mamdani’s making it really clear, New York doesn’t welcome success,” Mr Griffin said.
These remarks came after the New York City mayor released an April campaign video outside Griffin’s $238 million Manhattan penthouse, highlighting a proposed tax on luxury second homes over $5 million.
